Aim of the i2i project was to improve the quality of workplace training in industries in Europe . Within the i2i project useful manuals were developed to secure the whole process of work placement from the preparation to the point of admission of internship. The manuals aim to support schools, companies, exchange organisations, as well as participants. Information about the VQTS competence matrix as well as the competence matrix “Mechatronics” is included in the manual for coordinators of mobility projects.
