As a Transfer of Innovation project, VQTS-Transfer was based on the results of the project VQTS and saught to apply the VQTS model to the field of product engineering. One main goal was to strengthen the dialogue between companies, social partners and educational institutions in order to build integrated learning pathways. Another goal was to contribute to the implementation and transfer of the VQTS model in a specific professional area (mechanics and mechatronics) and to develop ways for recognising and validating individual competences acquired in different learning contexts – also comprising work-based learning.
