The project TRIFT elaborated a Competence Matrix (according to the VQTS model) for the professional area ‘foreign trade’. The partners also described competence profiles for the different VET-courses in their own countries. The Competence Matrix was tested ‘in reality’ by accomplishing internships between the partner’s countries. Competence development was evaluated by using outcome-orientated assessment methods and the students’ achievments were recognised by a certificate.
